This position involves promoting and selling MediaWright services to small businesses locally and regionally. The position requires the ability to build and manage multiple prospects, customers and projects. The Internet Sales Consultant will work closely with the MediaWright management team to continue to grow the team, its capabilities and the company. Daily Activity, Duties & Skills Phone skills, relationship building and verbal acumen an asset. • Perform advertising sales for MediaWright Local Internet Marketing division, which includes making out bound prospect calls, 20 – 25 minimum daily, to generate business. • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing customers and key prospects. • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature. • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales. • Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation. • Performs computer skills in a relation to customer development & management. Requirements: Web DesignerThe MediaWright Team is seeking an experienced, multi-talented Web Designer/Developer to help build the company’s Web development program. Projects range from HTML E-mail to Flash development to database-driven Websites for small business clients. The position requires the ability to manage multiple jobs and vendors while taking an active role in production efforts. The Web designer/developer will work closely with the MediaWright management team to continue to grow the team, its capabilities and the company. Document test plans, testing procedures, or test results. 16. Install and configure hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) servers and associated operating systems. 17. Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for correction. 18. Monitor security system performance logs to identify problems and notify security specialists when problems occur. 19. Develop databases that support web applications and web sites. 20. Perform web site tests according to planned schedules, or after any web site or product revisions. 21. Perform or direct web site updates. 22. Recommend and implement performance improvements. 23. Design and implement web site security measures such as firewalls or message encryption. 24. Establish appropriate server directory trees. 25. Identify or maintain links to and from other web sites and check links to ensure proper functioning. 26. Create searchable indices for web page content. 27. Back up files from web sites to local directories for instant recovery in case of problems. 28. Write supporting code for web applications or web sites. 29. Register web sites with search engines to increase web site traffic. 30. Develop or implement procedures for ongoing web site revision. 31. Evaluate or recommend server hardware or software. 32. Develop and document style guidelines for web site content. 33. Communicate with network personnel or web site hosting agencies to address hardware or software issues affecting web sites. 34. Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups. 35. Collaborate with management or users to develop e-commerce strategies and to integrate these strategies with web sites. 36.
